Christian Parker |

Christian was born and raised in Midland, Texas, where he graduated from Midland Lee High School in 2001. He then fulfilled a childhood dream and attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated in December 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. With a long list of family members already in the oil and gas industry, Christian felt a strong calling to join them. After a day at NAPE in 2006, and one interview, he was hired as a field landman to work in East Texas, where he remained until joining Tomahawk in 2016. As a Land Manager for Tomahawk, he has overseen projects from East Texas to West Texas, and everywhere in between.

Christian, his wife Lindsey, daughters Caroline and Samantha, and son Madden, all live in Lake Highlands, a smallish community in Dallas. When Christian and Lindsey aren’t found watching their children acting in plays, performing in piano recitals, or playing volleyball, basketball, or baseball, they can all be found traveling to their next adventure, whether it’s camping in a state park, or renting a beach house with friends. When given the opportunity, Christian loves to hunt, fish, and watch the Aggies.

Ross Sport |

Ross was raised in Midland, Texas, the heart of the Permian Basin. After graduating from Midland High School, Ross attended Texas Tech University. In 2002, Ross felt a strong pull back to his Midland roots to work as a landman. Ross is a third-generation oil and gas businessman following in the footsteps of his ancestors. Oil and Gas has been the family business since 1944. Over the past 80 years, Ross’s family has worked in all aspects of the energy industry as geologists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, and landmen. Ross has worked as an independent landman in the Permian Basin since 2002. In 2017, Ross began his career at Tomahawk where he currently holds the title of Land Manager. Ross’s diverse and thorough knowledge of the industry as a whole proves invaluable to the landman services that he provides today.

Ross married Tasha in 2011, and they have one son, Connor. The entire family has a love for protecting and caring for animals. Ross is also an avid outdoorsman. He is passionate about hunting and competitive shooting. This passion is seen in his work as a competitive shooting coach for his son and others through Permian Basin Young Guns.

Matthew Parker |

Matthew Parker is a fourth generation energy professional who comes from a long line of geologist, landmen, and drillers who made their way across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and East Texas, ultimately settling in Midland, Texas. After graduating from college, Matthew spent some time working in Beijing before he returned home and found work as a field landman in courthouses across the Permian Basin.

Matthew has been a Land Manager at Tomahawk Land Resources, LLC since 2016. He oversees projects across the Permian Basin, Powder River Basin, Eagle Ford, and the Marcellus Shale. He has also managed his share of renewable energy projects across the country. He spends his free time with his wife, Rachel, son, Griffin, and their two dogs. They take regular trips to the Texas coast and the mountains of Colorado. Matthew enjoys reading, writing, fishing, skiing, making music, and working in the kitchen. He even took culinary classes in Austin during one of the many downturns, but the energy industry has always called him back.

Mason Leeman |

Mason was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and has watched it grow to what it is today. He attended Texas Christian University and received a business degree from the Neeley School of Business. After graduation, Mason went to work in accounting with a focus on income taxes. While doing tax work, Mason worked with Tomahawk extensively as clients and eventually joined the team.

Mason lives in Fort Worth and spends most of his free time on the golf course or the deer lease in Goldthwaite, Texas.

Dash Hinds |

Dash Hinds, a native East Texan from Athens, Texas, has always had a deep-rooted love for the great outdoors. His early exposure to the family's custom home building business sparked a lifelong passion for woodworking and construction. Following his graduation from Athens High School in 2005, Dash attended The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in 2009, Dash returned to Athens to join his family's business.

In 2011, Dash ventured out to West Texas, launching his career as a Field Landman. Over the years, he continued to thrive in this role, working extensively across West, East, and Central Texas. His journey led him to become a valued member of the Tomahawk Land Resources, LLC team in 2017, where he quickly advanced to the position of Land Manager.

Outside of work, Dash is a devoted family man and Texas Longhorn. He married his wife, Adrianna, in 2014, and together they have two children, Shepherd and Millie. Dash enjoys quality family time together, often spending vacations in Melbourne Beach, Florida, the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico, and the Texas Hill Country.

John Hefley |

John was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. John grew up on his family’s farm near Shamrock, Texas, and was involved with all aspects of the agriculture operation. He graduated from Amarillo High and went to Texas Tech University in 2003. He holds a BBA in Accounting, Juris Doctor, and Master of Laws in Taxation. After completing his education, John worked as an International Tax Attorney for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where the majority of his clients were private equity firms investing in oil and gas. After PWC, John entered the oil and gas industry, working for a field brokerage firm and then went in-house with a large family-operated mineral management company. John’s education and real-world experience have proven invaluable as his role of President of Land/General Counsel of Tomahawk Land Resources, LLC. John oversees all projects in all regions.

John, his wife, Andrea, and their children, Hollis and Beckett, live on a small farm in Athens, Texas, where they raise animals, hay, and produce.  John is an ardent outdoorsman and enjoys farming and traveling with his wife and children. 

Tommy Henderson |

Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, Tommy is the middle child of two brothers, all of whom shared a passion for playing football. After graduating high school in 2004, Tommy attended Rice University on a football scholarship. After graduation in 2009, Tommy immediately went to work as a field landman. Tommy worked for a couple of brokers in and around Fort Worth and Midland before teaming up with Clayton. Knowledge of the industry and his innate business skills are applied daily as he teams with Clayton on the business side and John on the project side of the operation.

“Tommy married his wife, Simone, in 2018. When he is not working, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Rex and Hutton."

Clayton Warren |

Clayton Warren was born and raised in Prosper, Texas.  After high school, Warren enrolled at Texas Tech University to pursue a degree in animal science.  After graduating from Texas Tech in 2004, Warren worked stints in construction, ranching, agriculture insurance, and even owned and operated a convenience store with his family.  Working in diverse industries all provided great experiences which he uses today to lead the organization. 

Clayton married his wife, Elizabeth, in 2015, and has twin boys, Meyers and Collier.  In addition to his roles at Tomahawk, Warren also runs a livestock and ranching operation in Runnels County, Texas.  When not in the office or on the ranch, Warren enjoys having a glass of wine with his beautiful wife, competing in CrossFit, or rolling with his boys on the Jiu Jitsu mat.
